The Groovy Galleon is the musical track archive & podcast run by Mark! Silver. This project was inspired by one of his previous projects, a website by Kevin Macleod, and The Lunduke Hour. This project serves primarily as a way for Mark to share demos he recorded, but this project will occasionally feature freely-licensed work from other artists as well. Additionally, this site doubles as a podcast for Mark to discuss various things about music, whether it be a look at music he’s been listening to, a showcase of artists on bandcamp, or an interview with a guest artist.
The Groovy Galleon website itself is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. Individual tracks on this website are licensed independently of the site.
This website is written in Markdown, which Github automatically converts to HTML and CSS. The only script that is used is your web browser’s native code for playing HTML5 audio. Also, there are no ads on this site, and there never will be. Ads just suck. If you want to browse this site’s code, feel free to browse its Github repository.
